 Brush Mountain Ranch is located in northwest Colorado, at the confluence of the Slater and Roaring Fork creeks. Comprising 3,800+ acres of diverse habitat, including quaking aspen, spruce, pine, fir and sagebrush, the elevation ranges from 7,300 to 10,100 feet.
Whispering Pine Lodge is at an elevation of 7,400 feet. The top of Brush Mountain is 10,100 feet. The mountain has a multitude of foot trails, game trails and two tracks that allow you to relax, photograph or simply observe the best of Colorado's outdoors. The fields of sage and thick stands of Aspen trees are home to several herds of Elk and Mule Deer.
The lodge is approximately 20 miles from the nearest small town of Dixon, Wyoming, approximately 60 miles northeast of Craig and approximately 45 miles northwest of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
